Grow - Equipping You to be an Effective Discipler of Children
|
Grow is a forum to explore aspects of raising children as Disciples of Christ, held termly, and is for everyone who feels passionately about being involved in raising Godly children in our community – parents, grand parents, God parents and children’s workers. The session material is repeated – once on a Tuesday morning, and once on a Tuesday evening. |
Each meeting will have a major theme for discussion, a section on celebrating festivals with the children in your life, and some resources available for you to browse.

Starting Rite
You, your baby and God
-
Wondering what Church can offer you and your family?
-
Wondering about what values you would like your child to grow up with?
-
Interested in how to introduce your child to God?
-
Thinking about having your child baptised, but want to understand it a bit more?
Starting Rite…
is a baby-centred course run by Cambourne Church over five weeks that helps you to think through and answer some of these questions,
while having lots of play and bonding with your baby!
We do lots of fun activities with babies aged 0-1:
singing, story-telling, bathing, baby massage
and other multisensory play.
The Starting Rite course is open to anyone but may be of particular interest for those who are
-
thinking of having their baby baptised or holding a Service of Thanksgiving for their child.
-
interested in exploring how to support the spiritual nurture of their child.
For more information, or to book onto this course please contact Jane Brooks on jane.brooks@cambournechurch.org.uk or 07850961000 or 01954 710644
Have you got children that you would like to bring to church? We run a specific programme just for children!

Young Church
|
Meets every week on Sunday Mornings during the
11.00am service and during the 10am service on
the first Sunday of the month.
|
The group names are taken from the idea of a journey
from a river’s source to the ocean.
|
In all our discipleship work with children we aim to equip children to live a Christian life through a living relationship with God. We want not only
God Smart children, who know lots about God, but
God Connected children who know and love God for themselves.
