We hold two services in the Cambourne Church Centre on Sunday mornings, at 9.30am and at 11am. On the first Sunday in the month our community gathers together for a single service at 10am. Any changes to this will be shared on our Facebook page or shown on the calendar here.

  • The 9.30 service is more traditional in style with the music mainly consisting of hymns played on a keyboard.
  • The 11am service is more contemporary in style with the music being lead by a worship team. Most of the songs are more modern than those played at the 9.30 service.

We aim to livestream one service each week on Facebook at This will usually be the 11am service. You do not have to have a Facebook account to watch it, and you can also catch up with it later. We hope also to embed this service on our website.

  • There will be no need to book a place at services.
  • The wearing of masks when we gather for worship is still strongly encouraged as a simple way of loving your neighbour and keeping them safer from COVID.
  • People will be encouraged to sanitise their hands on entering and leaving the building.
  • Please enter from the front of the building rather than using the car park entrance.
  • On arrival people will also be encouraged to choose a colour-coded sticker to wear to indicate whether they prefer to keep their distance, whether they would welcome an elbow nudge, or whether they are open to shaking hands in greeting.
  • There will be singing at the 10.30am service.
  • At the 11am service people will place their chairs where they feel most comfortable, and stewards can assist with this. We will encourage household groups to sit close together but to allow space for those who are not yet ready for close fellowship.
  • We will try to ensure as much ventilation as is practical, dependent on the weather.
  • Activities for children (school years 1-6) and young people (school years 7-13) have resumed, they will begin the service with their families in the main hall and then separate into their groups part way through.
  • At the end of the service, after any necessary tidying away, people will be encouraged to leave the building and continue in fellowship outdoors rather than inside the building.
  • Attending a service does not entail being on camera, the camera will be located at the front of the church with plenty of space behind and to the sides of it where you will not be on camera..
Remember the church is the people, not the building.

Welcome Visitors

New to Church?

00 Welcome

Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.

When & where does the church meet?

Due to the latest government advice regarding the protection of our community during the Coronavirus pandemic we have taken the unprecedented and sad, but necessary, decision to suspend all church gatherings including home groups and Sunday Worship until further notice.

Through this time of restrictions due to COVID-19 you can find our main Sunday offering, Sunday Diffferent, on our YouTube channel A new service premieres each Sunday at 10.15am and is available to watch at any time after then.
Please look at our Facebook page and this website for further details about how we will be walking together at this difficult time.

Sunday morning services are normally held at 9.30am & 11.00am; the 9.30am service is more traditional and reflective, while the 11.00am service is more contemporary with activities offered for children and young people. Communion is celebrated on the second and fourth Sunday of the month. We all meet together at 10.00am during the month of August. On the fourth Sunday of the month at 7pm there is an informal service called Encounter.

We meet at:

Cambourne Church
Jeavons Lane

You can see a map on our contact us page

There is limited parking available on the site.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be some singing to start with as well as some prayers and a reading from the bible. There will be a talk (some reflections) from one of the leaders of the church, with a chance to discuss it further at the end of the service.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

What is there for children and young people at church?

We have a fantastic programme for the children and young people at the Church for ages 0–18. Children and young people stay with their families at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. Someone will announce when the children and young people need to go to their programme. We have young church for those from 0 - Yr 6 and a youth group called Xtreme for our young people in years 7-11.

For more information about what happens in the children's and youth work please visit the relevant age group section under church life.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!
You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
