Series card - The Shema

A Series exploring the Shema – a prayer said daily by Jews over the centuries, aiming to get a deeper understanding of the keywords: Listen, Heart, Soul and Strength.
The Shema can be found in Deuteronomy 6:4-5

Each week, a local park will be suggested as a venue for those who wish to bring a picnic lunch. and eat together.

Lord God, one God, teach us to both hear and obey you with our whole heart: our physical body, our thoughts, our emotions and our desires.
May our souls - the whole of our existence - and the full strength of everything we are and have be devoted to your love and service.
Amen
