Parish Nursing
Whole Person Healthcare Through Cambourne Church

Cath Price has been working as a registered nurse for 14 years with experience in a variety of settings including medical, surgical, training and specialist roles. She has been trained in safeguarding and DBS checked. She has been working part time as a Parish Nurse in Cambourne since 2014. She also works part time at Addenbrookes Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Parish nursing is all about supporting people and communities towards whole person healthcare. Parish nurses work with people of all ages and backgrounds, those with any faith or none. Whether it’s simply giving moral support during a medical crisis, giving general health advice or educating for health, “signposting” people to various support or medical services, praying for people, clarifying medical procedures or issues or simply listening. They focus on the person, rather than just a specific medical condition, integrating the different aspects of health./
